The Laing family have been involved in the whisky business since the 1940s, with a background in blending and bottling, but always passionate about creating their own single malt. That moment arrived in 2018 when the Laings filled the first cask at the Ardnahoe Distillery, the stunning distillery the family designed and built from scratch on the famous whisky-producing island of Islay.

Hunter Laing bottles the finest and rarest malt whiskies from legendary distilleries all over Scotland under brands such as Old Malt Cask, which has spent twenty years as one of the market leaders in the single cask category. The company has recently released new ranges such as Scarabus Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky and The Journey Series, a range of blended malt Scotch whisky.
