Once a key component of the early Johnnie Walker blends, Annandale's illustrious history looked to have ended in 1918, when the distillery closed. The buildings fell into disrepair and collapsed, forgotten other than by whisky historians. However, David Thomson and Teresa Church saw potential in the ruined walls, and in 2014 spirit flowed again in a now-rebuilt distillery.
Skip forward to the present day, and the distillery's earliest spirit has now officially become whisky and the new story of Annandale is in full flow. We look forward to welcoming Annandale to The Whisky Show – a rare chance to try the distillery's matured whisky.
