Signatory was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington, already known in the whisky world as the manager of Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh, and the man behind its successful range of private bottlings.

Striking out on his own, he formed Signatory and began to bottle whiskies under the new label, quickly becoming known for his excellent taste and ability to get hold of incredible casks.

Over the past three decades, there has been only one major change – Andrew and Signatory bought Edradour distillery. Andrew now splits his time between making his own whisky and selecting great casks from other distillers. The on-site warehouses are full to the brim with spirit from Scotland's greatest producers, with vintages stretching back decades.

The Signatory stand is always a hit at The Whisky Show in London, with a wide range of great drams to try.
