the third edition of Whisky Show: Old & Rare marked the 20th anniversary of the whisky exchange. the 2019 show boasted an even more impressive line-up than in 2018.

Not only did we see the return of old friends behind the tables, we also welcomed new ones, including private collectors Magnus Fagerström from Sweden and Hideo Yamaoka from Japan, Indie bottler and collector The Nectar from Belgium and Edinburgh whisky bar Usquabae. With more than 600 different old and rare whiskies to try, there are too many highlights to mention from the 2019 show, so here are just a few: the fabled non-peaty Laphroaig from the 1930s, an Ardbeg 1974 by Samaroli, Caol Ila 12 year old from a sherry cask bottled by James MacArthur and an impressive vertical line up of Macallan from 1962 to 1976.
