Hailing from Bad Nenndorf in northern Germany, Jens Drewitz is known across Europe as a whisky collector. With a collection comparising of mainly old and rare whiskies, he is sought out by the whisky community for his knowledge on interesting bottles.
In 2011, he branched out from collecting and started bottling whisky for the Sansibar restaurant on the island of Sylt. Over the past few years, this has grown to be a full scale indendent bottling operation and Jens now divides his time between searching for new casks and interesting old drams.
Jens will be bringing a selection of carefully chosen whiskies from his own collection to share at the old and rare show.
