Founded as James Wyld & Co in 1801, John Crabbie & Co was a big name in the whisky world of the mid-1800s. With a large import and export business, they shipped Scotch whisky and other goods around the world, sold blended whisky under the name John Crabbie, and were one of the largest owners of bonded warehousing in Scotland.

However, John Crabbie cemented his name in history when he joined with Andrew Usher and William Sanderson to create The North British Distilling Company, and building the eponymous distillery.

Today, John Crabbie's legacy continues with Crabbie Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a range of drams from unnamed distilleries that show the best that Scotland has to offer.
