Founded in 1967, GlenAllachie is a distillery with a short history. Designed by famed distillery architect William Delmé Evans, it was built to create malt for blends and has remained little known until more recently.

Shortly after its first distillery bottling was released in 2017, the distillery was sold, and a new era began.

Now with Billy Walker – of Benriach, Glendronach and Glenglassaugh fame – at the helm, a range of age-statement whiskies are available and single-cask releases are being prepped. Finally, whisky fans will get a chance to try an ongoing whisky from this quiet but excellent distillery.
