Built at the foot of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Southern Japan Alps, Hakushu produces very different whiskies from those from the sister distillery Yamazaki.

Focusing on smokier spirit, Hakushu's whisky varies from the rich and peaty to the light, zesty and smoky, expanding both the range of malts that Suntory has to produce its award-winning blended whiskies and the number of great Japanese single malts that the company released to fans around the world.
