Maison Lineti was born from the world of fine wine, and brings its science to single malt. For us, the decisive moment is not the cask but the spirit that goes into it, and the decisive stage is fermentation. Our Whisky maker, Dr Magali Picard, reads how aromatic compounds form and interact, and uses the winemaker’s tools to shape them: long fermentations in ovoid concrete eggs, co-inoculation, malolactic fermentation, lees ageing. Each choice sets the aromatic blueprint of the new make spirit — so that years later the cask reveals a profile we designed from the first days of fermentation.
Everything is then orchestrated with the precision of a great watchmaking house. Where fine wine lets the year decide, we let the maker decide: variation is a creative choice.
Our range is conceived as a journey. Calibre is the signature of the Maison in its purest form. Complication goes further, with each cuvée built around a single technique, where the science becomes the story.
