This year, Ardbeg will be bringing three Dream Drams to the Whisky Show, ranging from a long-sold-out six year old to an incredible almost-30-year-old single cask.
The trio will include:
Ardbeg Very Young – a six-year-old which was the first release of whisky distilled after The Glenmorangie Company took over the distillery in 1997.
Ardbeg 1978 – the third in a series of vintage releases from the distillery. This one was bottled in 1999.
Ardbeg 1975 Single Cask #4704 – distilled in December 1975, matured in an ex-oloroso cask and bottled in April 2005 at 29 years old.
The distillers have started to confirm the whiskies they are bringing to the show and we will be updating the full list of Dream Drams as we learn more.
