Georgie Bell has spent her entire adult life telling people about whisky, and has built up a fearsome reputation in the industry, both academically and as an ambassador.

Starting by achieving the highest mark globally in the Institute of Brewers and Distilling's Diploma in Distillation she then moved into the whisky world. From working for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as its first global ambassador, she took on the task of taking Diageo's relaunched Mortlach range to the world, before joining the Dewar's team and focusing on its unique range of single malts.

With five malt whiskies to look after, Georgie is always busy. She's already helped create a range of incredible events for her whiskies, including the launch of the Craigellachie 51 Year Old – a whisky given away for free to fans to celebrate drinking whisky rather than hoarding it as a commodity – and we are very pleased that she's found time to come and see us at Whisky Show this year.
