At Feddie Ocean Distillery, we craft premium whisky, gin, and aquavit on the remote island of Fedje, off Norway’s rugged west coast. Our distillery stands proudly by the harbour, where we also mature our spirits just metres from the crashing waves. The wild coastal weather and salty ocean air play a defining role in shaping the flavour and character of every cask.

But we are about more than just exceptional spirits. Feddie Ocean Distillery was born from one woman’s vision: to create world-class whisky from an island by the sea. Today, that dream is shared by over 1,100 female investors, making us the only distillery in the world owned entirely by women. We aim to challenge convention – not just in how spirits are made, but in who gets to own and shape the future. Women remain underrepresented in investing, with men controlling around 80% of the stock market’s value. At Feddie, we want to help close that gap by inspiring more women to take part, take risks, and invest.
