The Story Of… doesn’t own a distillery and that’s the point. Relationships with leading American producers provide access to exceptional barrels that rarely appear on a price list, giving the freedom to choose only those that stand apart. The core bourbons are made from carefully selected casks, aged five to seven years and blended in small batches of up to 8 casks at a time, alongside micro blends and single casks released as limited editions.

The whiskey is American, everything else is closer to home. Cask-strength whiskey is shipped across the Atlantic by the cask and proofed and bottled in the UK, working with British suppliers for bottles, labels and packaging. Shipping whiskey rather than glass and packaging also reduces the CO₂ of each bottle’s journey.
