Founded in 2002 in Lahti, Finland, Teerenpeli Distillery is a pioneering force in Finnish and Nordic whisky production and the largest single malt distillery in Finland. As a family-owned business Teerenpeli is driven by a passion for crafting premium single malt whiskies using only the finest  ingredients and traditional methods.

Teerenpeli’s whiskies are distilled using Scottish-style copper pot stills and matured in upcycled containers—an environmentally conscious choice that also enhances the whisky’s character. The unique Finnish climate, with its cold winters and warm summers, accelerates and deepens the maturation process, allowing the spirit to develop rich, complex flavors over time.

The distillery’s award-winning range includes expressions such as Kaski, Kulo, Savu, and aged editions like the 10- and 15-Year-Old single malts and interesting limited editions. These whiskies are matured in a variety of casks, including sherry, bourbon, port, and Amarone, each contributing distinct notes to the final product.

In 2021, Teerenpeli expanded the modern distillery with Visitor Center just outside Lahti, offering guided tours, tastings, and a behind-the-scenes look at their artisanal process. In addition to whisky, Teerenpeli also crafts Pyygin, a Finnish small-batch gin.
