Many numbers are stated when it comes to how much flavour a cask gives to the spirit maturing within, but casks are complex beasts and there’s a lot more going on than many people realise.

Nurturing them through their long lives to create the world’s finest spirits is an art more than a science, and in this class we’ll be joined by two experts – Bruichladdich head distiller Adam Hannett and Mount Gay rum master blender Trudiann Branker. Bowmore: A journey Through flavour
