One of the industry's most colourful characters, Peter's illustrious career spans 38 years of adventure across all corners of the globe from the Skeleton Coast to Outer Mongolia and beyond! He joined the industry back in 1986, cutting his teeth across Southern Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It was an action-packed baptism of fire in which he pioneered the export of Scotch to India and Vietnam. After a lively decade with J&B, Peter joined Chivas Bros in 1997 as VP Asia-Pacific with a brief to build a market for Chivas in the hitherto vast unchartered territory of Mainland China.

From his base in Singapore and armed with his famous yellow suitcase, he orchestrated the spectacular expansion of Chivas Bros across the region while seeding the way for The Glenlivet and Aberlour. The rest, as they say, is history! Returning to Scotland in 2012, Peter was appointed Chairman of the Keepers of the Quaich, an industry post he held for two terms and six illustrious years celebrating the 'Water of Life'. Peter now travels the world with his legendary address book and a Pandora's box of amusing whisky anecdotes while making new friends every day for Chivas Bros and The Glenlivet.
