Whisky Show is famous for hosting some of the world's most impressive masterclasses each year, with exclusive guest hosts, rare bottles and one-off collaborations that are only possible at the UK's best whisky festival.

This year sees our fullest schedule yet, with 12 masterclasses available each day, covering everything from whisky production to cigar pairing.

On the geeky side, you can join famed drinks author Dave Broom for his Whisky Naked class: an exploration of new make spirit and the journey whisky takes from still to glass. Or dig into food and whisky with whisky ambassador Georgie Bell, as she pairs a variety of nibbles from our food partners with a range of drams from Craigellachie and Aberfeldy. There's all this and more, including rum with Richard Seale from Foursquare, new releases from Benromach and Bunnahabhain, a dissection of Dalmore's sherry casks, and our annual charity whisky speed dating – something for everyone.

Also added to the bill at this year's show is a whole schedule of mini-masterclasses for those looking for a little bit of added fun. Our World of Whisky program offers the opportunity to learn about whiskies from around the world, examining everything from the casks they've been matured in to the differences that being aged in different climates can cause. Alongside our round-the-world trip, we are also hosting cigar pairing sessions twice a day, with a selection of whiskies from Dalmore matched with the different stages of a cigar.
