One of the great indie bottlers, Douglas Laing’s warehouses are home to some incredible casks of whisky. In this class, we are delighted to be joined by Fred and Cara Laing. Representing the second and third generations of a whisky dynasty, they have pulled together a lineup that takes in the decades.
Douglas Laing was founded in 1948. Still family-owned, this indie botter and blender has over 75 years of experience, connections and tradition behind them. Their ranges include familiar favourites like Big Peat, single casks both as their more approachable Provenance range and their premium XOP range, and now the proud owners of a shiny new distillery, Strathearn.
This tasting will look at selection of single casks specially curated for Whisky Show by Fred and Cara and which includes a 25 Year Old Highland Park and a 40 Year Old Port Ellen.
