Kirstie McCallum started in the whisky world as a chemist, and after some time working at a grain distillery moved on to become the youngest female blender in Scotland. After a few years she moved into a global brand ambassador role but has now returned to the lab, where she looks after blending for Distell International, working on single malts from Bunnahabhain, Deanston and Tobermory as well as the company's blended whiskies.
