Traditionally, bourbon has been all about the Master Distiller, and still is to a degree, but the Master Blender plays a vital role. Each of the whiskies Buffalo Trace produces has its own characteristics, and Drew is repsonsible for ensuring the taste profile and consistency in each bottle. The annual release of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection is testament to his expertise.
Drew is a senior member of the American Society for Quality and has been certified as a quality engineer since 1987. He also holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
