A stalwart of the region since its founding in 1897, it was owned by Glenmorangie until 2008, and very much sat in the shadow of its sibling. However, since being sold to French producer La Martiniquaise, they have emerged into the limelight and are now producing a varied range of whiskies, experimenting with interesting cask types and even releasing a peated expression.
